Ever realized you should leave some of your habits? You should grab some good habit instead? Or you have so many things to do in your life? You have a better version of you than you are now? Every man and woman in the world have something to improve. Because no one is perfect in this world. And it’s a continuous process. Every day you can improve yourself and you can be better than you were yesterday. This process is called self improvement.
Let’s brief this. Self improvement is a continuous journey of improvement of yourself. It needs dedication and consistency that will increase your productivity and improve your mental health. There is no actual boundaries or fixed area of self improvement. If you feel you should change any of your habit, that is your area of self improvement. I will discuss some of the common area of self improvement and how to begin. Also I will try to help you leave some of your habits that needs to change.
Today I will only discuss about Overthinking. This is mental cancer in this twenty-first century where everyone is so busy to become successful. Yes, you have heard me right. I have mentioned this as mental cancer. Let me give you some example.

1. David is an engineering student. He is good in programming and electronics. Since the final year is coming close, he is getting afraid day by day. Every night he thinks himself, can I be able to get a job? Am I capable enough to manage my life expenses?
2. Henry is a graduate with two years of job experience in export import business. But now he wants to start a business of his own. He has a good knowledge in this area. But he so afraid to start. All the day he is thinking what if I failed. I have invested all my savings and also I have resigned from my stable job. I will be collapse within a moment.
3. Arjun is a foreign student from India and studying management in Massachusetts. He came here with student loan. But now he is scared. Because this semester he is facing trouble in Economics. He is not good in this subject. And if he cannot complete his MBA program he will be in real trouble. Now-a-days he cannot sleep because of this tension.
4. Abraham works in an investment banking agency and earn a good income. Also he has two bank loan at the same time. One is for this apartment and one his for his new SUV. Since the global economic crisis begun, he is now in great trouble. Because he has a family with two school going kids and two bank loan at the same time.
These are some common scenario now-a-days in our life. Most of the people are overthinking and this is ruining their lives. Some major reasons of overthinking are:
1. Taking too much unnecessary risk: Taking risk is part of our daily life. Whenever you start a new thing there is 50% risk of failure. But why to take unnecessary risk? Some people say “no risk, no gain”. But there should be a certain limit of taking risk. Know about your limit and ability. Then take risk until it don’t damage your normal life. But don’t do more than that.

2. Starting a new thing without enough experience: Either you want to start a new business or any new activity, at first gather enough experience and skill. Then start it. Taking a new steps in life without enough experience and overthinking about it all day won’t solve your problem.
3. Wants to be a perfectionist: Some people are always want to Mr. Perfectionist. But there is a certain term called “Human Error”. Human being cannot be beyond mistakes. This is literally impossible. So don’t be afraid of making mistakes. And don’t ever think about what other people will say. Don’t overthink.

4. Lack of self-belief: This is a common problem in our youngsters. They have a huge lack of self-belief. Try to belief yourself. You can achieve what you wish to achieve. Gather enough knowledge and skill and work hard on it. You can do it. Don’t ruin your beautiful life on overthinking.
If you have read till here, now you must want to know what the solution for overthinking is. The solution for this problem is simple. Since we have figure out the problem, the solution is there.
1. Be a skilled person: Whatever you want to do in your life, first be skilled to that particular thing before starting. Remember, skill is the key to achieve anything. And skill is the thing you cannot achieve without doing it on your own hand.
2. Start today but don’t take unnecessary risk: Tomorrow never come, until it’s too late. If you want to start something start it today. Remember if you don’t start it, you cannot achieve it. So start it and work on it. Keep consistency and see the result. But don’t take extra risk that can make your life hell.
3. Belief in yourself and work hard on it: Belief in yourself and always work hard on your dream. If you dream it, you can achieve it. It’s just a matter of time. Don’t you ever feel helpless.
4. Make mistakes and fix that: When you make a mistake it means, you have tried it. People who never done anything have no mistake in their life. Remember one thing when you make a mistake, “This is not the end of the world”. You have made mistake, no problem. Restart again. Someday, you will do it.
