A few days back I was talking about 10 Best Sports Sandal for Men on Travelling. But then I realize girls also need some suggestion for their sandal. Because when travel they also face same problem like boys. Then I talked with some of my tour mate (I’ve met them when I travelled with a group in Meghalaya, India) about what problem they face with their sandal when they travel and what type of sandal or slipper the like to wear on a tour.
At first let’s talk about the problem a girl face with their sandal:
1. Girl’s shoes are made focused on style: Most of the shoe manufacture company keep in mind that girl’s sandal or shoe should be stylish all the time. But to make the shoe stylish, they made high, overweight, and strong shoes without flexibility and comfort. So when it’s time to travel around the sea or hiking on the rocks, it’s not easy to find a perfect shoe for that situation.
2. Comfort: A gorgeous shoes are less comfortable and flexible. It can hurt and also sometimes it can itch. But when you want to wear a shoe for day-long, and you’ll be walking on the sand or water, it is more important to be comfortable, lightweight and also flexible at the same time. So you don’t feel any pain and weight on your legs.
3. Water resistant: When I was travelling to Meghalaya, I’ve seen so many water falls. So many times I have soaked my shoes. Also all my travel mate did the same. But their shoes were not water resistant and took a long time to get dry. Also sometimes it smells really bad which create an awkward situation. So keep in mind, when you are travelling to see waterfall or river or sea, you need a water resistant sandal.
4. Good grip: You know waterfalls are slippery. So when you are planning to travel to a waterfall or camping in the woods, where muds and water will be here are there, you need a nice pair of sports sandal with a good grip. Because you don’t want to break your legs by falling. So traction is an important point to keep in mind.
5. Open: At this point I have my sneaker which is really good and I like to wear them all the time. But remember one thing, when a sneaker soak, it took so much time and sunshine to get dry. And if it is not dry properly, it will smells really bad. But you cannot hold your tour for only to get your sneaker dry. So at this point you need a pair of sandal which is more open with good air flow in your feet. So you don’t need to hold to get dry your feet or sandal.
To keep all this in mind I’ve come up with some suggestion what type of sandal a girl need when they travel. I’ve tried my best to research about this topic. And after a good research, I’ve come up with some solutions. I’ve tried to choose some sandals with good quality which meets all the above requirement and also budget friendly. I don’t want a pair of sandal which will cost high. So keep reading and you’ll have a nice idea. You should keep in mind the bellow points to buy a sports sandal.
1. Comfortable: With comfort, there is no compromise. Because you’ll be walking all day.
2. Flexible: Your legs are not flat as steel sheet. It moves and it is curvy. So you sandal should be flexible. So you can walk or hike easily.
3. Nice grip: I’ve talked about it before. Without a good grip, you can slip.
4. Water resistant: Travel sandal should made of material that dry so fast.
5. Good looking: I know you are thinking what about style. You don’t want to wear an ugly sandal. Yes, this also should keep in mind.
6. Budget: Finally budget. You should not spend too much money on a travel sandal. Because you will wear them daily. I say, at most 80$ is enough for a sports sandal.
Now I am going to suggest you some sandals of my choice. All these sandals are suggested by my tour mates from Meghalaya.
